4. working principles
When oxygen-containing gases pass through the discharge gap between the two electrodes, some oxygen molecules (O2) are converted to ozone (O3) to achieve ozone preparation (see figure 1). When there is a variable high voltage on the high voltage electrode, there will be a micro discharge at the discharge gap between the electrodes. Oxygen molecules are decomposed into free oxygen atoms O, part of the free oxygen atoms recombine with unbroken oxygen molecules to form ozone (O3), which is called O+O2=O3," corona discharge "or" silent discharge ".

VIII. Sterilization capacity
ozone has extremely strong oxidation, is recognized as a broad-spectrum high-efficiency bactericide worldwide, its oxidation ability is higher than chlorine, sterilization in water is 600-3000 times faster than chlorine, even a few seconds can kill bacteria, for common e. coli, streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, mold and so on, in the ozone concentration of 0.3 PPM environment for 5 minutes, its killing rate can reach more than 99%. The sterilization and disinfection effect is almost instantaneous, when the ozone concentration in water reaches 0.3-2 mg/L ,0.5-1 min can kill bacteria.
